Turkey Computational Social Science Conference 2024

Join us at the Turkey Computational Social Sciences Conference (TCSS) 2024, a premier event that continues to foster the growth and integration of computational methods in social sciences! Following the success of TCSS 2023, this year’s conference, TCSS 2024, promises a broader, more inclusive, and far-reaching exploration of the field, reflecting its dynamic and evolving nature.

TCSS 2024, set to convene at Koç University on May 2-3, 2024, will provide an unparalleled platform to exchange innovative ideas, discuss methodological advancements, and explore the broad spectrum of computational applications in social sciences.

The conference is designed to offer a comprehensive view of the field, covering a wide array of topics and disciplines, and it is committed to showcasing a broad spectrum of perspectives—ranging from theoretical and methodological to computational:

Koç University Rumelifeneri Campus, İstanbul / Room: Founders’ Hall (Kurucular Salonu)

The conference format will be entirely in-person. Participants are expected to travel to Istanbul.


COST

Participation and attendance at the conference are free.


APPLY FOR PARTICIPATION

Please send your presentation proposals with your name and institution information the via the Microsoft CMT link provided through the “APPLY” button below.

Applications require an abstract in English containing no longer than 500 words which will include key words, research question or hypothesis, a description of the data and methodology used in the research to be presented, and the conclusions of the study.

We also welcome guest attendees who are interested in participating in the conference without presenting. To register as a guest, please use the provided link and instead of an abstract, upload a document stating your intention to attend as an audience member.

Please note that the conference is going to be in English.

  • To submit your application, please click on the “APPLY” button below.
  • Open a Microsoft CMT account for yourself, and log in with your Microsoft CMT credentials.
  • Start to submit your application via “create new submission.”
  • Enter a title for your submission, and add co-authors if required.
  • Upload your abstract as doc, docx or pdf, via “upload from computer,” and click on “submit.”
